The Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP) was established following parliamentary assent to the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Regulations 2014. The Regulations regarding Citizenship by Investment in Antigua and Barbuda are contained in Section 6 of the Citizenship by Investment Act, 2014. These provisions allow the government to operate a program under which citizenship is granted to persons who qualify under criteria set by parliamentary decision. Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship Program - Costs & Investment opportunities

Applicants must make a significant economic contribution to the country in order to apply for the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship Program and can choose between three investment options: contribution, real estate investment or business investment.

1. Contribution

  • USD 100,000 single applicant
  • USD 100,000 family of up to 4 persons
  • USD 125,000 family of up to 4 persons with incremental payments of USD 15,000 for each additional dependent.

2. Real Estate investment

Applicants may purchase property valued at a minimum of USD 400,000 in a preapproved real estate development area. The investment must be maintained for a minimum of five years. Property registration, processing fees and taxes must be paid in addition to the property purchase.


3. Business Investment

High net worth individuals may choose to establish a business. Therefor an investment of a minimum of USD 1,500,000 directly into an eligible business as a sole investor is required.
